Altair Starwave 70ED APO Refractor 70mm/420 Travel & Imaging Scope with case. Perfect for imaging or travel / grab & go. Great quality ED optics in a very compact scope. Excellent build and performance for the price. Views are great with pin sharp stars and excellent colour correction.

Also excellent for imaging and light enough to ride on any mount, including using a photo-tripod with light ball head or pan-tilt fluid head. Vixen finder holder - fitted.

2 inch to 1.25 eyepiece adapter. Excellent quality dual speed focuser. Two-inch with 1.25 adapter. Excellent optics with with just a few of the usual specks of dust.

Body has some rubbing and one small dink to the paint - see photo. Dovetail has usual mounting marks. The focuser is smooth and works properly. The rotatable focuser lock is positive and holds it firmly in place - the rotation is not that smooth in these scopes but fine. The retractable dew shield has little flop and is smooth in use.

Superb for imaging and a great wide-field visual scope. 70mm aperture - F6 420mm Focal Length. Only 12 inch (300mm) long with dew shield retracted. Effective baffling and internal blacking. M54 0.75 Female Thread to rear of draw tube.
