It comes with Opticron's excellent HDF zoom which is also made in Japan. Also comes with a virtually new (and expensive) waterproof stay-on case. The focus wheel turns smoothly and evenly in both directions.

By using an ED or'extra low dispersion' glass element in the primary objective system, these fieldscopes provide a higher degree of colour correction when compared to conventional glass objectives.

All models feature a high definition 5 element ED objective lens system, BK 7 prisms and unique Opticron N-type multi-coating. This combination maximises colour contrast, clarity and definition especially at higher magnifications under a range of different light conditions. The fieldscopes are fully nitrogen gas filled waterproof and are also protected with a durable natural rubber armour.
