The advantage of the FFP crosshair is that the relationship between the target and the MIL-dot spacings will remain constant, regardless of what magnification the scope has been set to.

Glass-etched reticles are superior to wire for several reasons, most notable is how much more crisp, fine and clean your view is when you look thorough the scope. A glass etched reticle, also cannot be broken.

Anyone who has shot enough has seen a wire reticle actually break within the reticle field. As the reticle design is etched into the reticle lens, it is static and cannot physically be broken. All illuminated scopes with glass-etched reticles have the added benefit of zero internal light reflection which occurs to some extent in illuminated scopes with wire reticles. Red or green crosshair illumination The crosshair can be illuminated in red or green and be cycled through 7 levels of intensity - Or off for plain black. Illumination comes into its own when shooting targets that are either naturally dark or made dark by light conditions such as shadow, dawn dusk, very bright light or night shooting with lamps or night vision kit.

Without Illumination a black reticle can be very hard to make out against the target. Illumination fixes this problem and gives immediate contrast. Adjust intensity according to the light conditions.

Push-button rheostat - seven brightness settings. Press the button marked'R' to light the reticle in red. Press the button marked'G' to light the reticle in green. Each subsequent press of the button will increase the reticle brightness and can be cycled through no illumination to maximum intensity. Simultaneously pressing both the'R' and'G' buttons will revert to a black reticle (no illumination) and store the last setting.

The next time either the'R' or'G' button is pressed, the reticle will illuminate at its lastused intensity. Integral anti-cant spirit level bubble The F1 features an integral anti-cant bubble to avoid canting - leaning the rifle to one side when on aim. Slacken the bolts on the mounts' top straps so that the scope can be rotated within the rings. It is important that you ensure the rifle itself is perfectly perpendicular (see image below) before you undertake the procedure for aligning the reticle's vertical and horizontal stadia. Once the scope's anti-cant bubble is centred, re-tighten the strap bolts.

Side parallax adjustment (PA) - 10 yards to infinity. The target's focus and sharpness is further refined by turning the PA sidewheel. This eliminates parallax error, but also serves as a handy range-finding system Simply turn the sidewheel back and forth until the target becomes sharp, and then read off the range shown. This is best achieved at the highest power (20x) and can be used in conjunction with the reticle bracketing system. It is also useful when bracketing is not possible (eg when the target size is not known).

Advanced Push-LOKT adjustment turrets (1/4 MOA). The scope's unique Push-LOK top and side adjustment turrets can be locked to avoid them inadvertently turning. To unlock them to make adjustments, pull the turret outwards. After adjustment, push the turret inwards to lock it again.

Fast-focus eye-piece The crosshair sharpness is set at the eyepiece (dioptre adjustment) easily adjusted as needed. 30mm aviation grade aluminium alloy body tube 9/11mm two-piece ring mounts - Suit the majority of air rifles and rimfire rifles. Covers whole of UK including Northern Ireland and Isles. For UK mainland we use DPD couriers. All are insured and tracked in transit.
