VIKING V80mm SPOTTING SCOPE + 2 EYEPECES inc. ZOOM + SLIK TRIPOD VERY NICE
VIKING OPTICAL products always offer decent optical ability at very sensible prices. This listing is for a rather nice VIKING V80mm ANGLE BODIED RUBBER ARMOURED SPOTTING SCOPE with 2 EYEPIECES - a VIKING 20-60x ZOOM and a VIKING 22x EYEPIECE... A very solid older SLIK MASTER tripod. One zipped VIKING eyepiece case is also included in this outfit - either eyepiece can be accommodated in this case. I have used this scope several times in the field and can confirm that it delivers fine images and is really pleasing to use.
The eyepiece zooms smoothly and has a rubber covered twist up eyecup; and the focusing control on the scope is smooth in action. The 22x eyepiece is an excellent performer and has a rubber fold down eyecup.
The scope body has a sliding lens hood and a rotating tripod mount collar. The SLIK tripod has a good maximum height of 166cm approx. It is in good working condition but does have minor signs of use and age. Defects: some very light marks around the scope body - including some paint chips around the objective lens trim; internally a few tiny tiny dust specks; the tripod has some age related usage marks.
