Vintage Swallow 30x-120x zoom spotting scope/80mm objective

  
These scopes were marketed under a number of brand names over the years (often Kenko, Panorama, etc) but this one is labelled Swallow. It does have a few scratches and marks here and there on the barrel, but optically it is in very good condition for it's age. Both zoom and focus rings are smooth and the eyepiece itself has a surprising amount of eye relief. I certainly had no trouble using it whilst wearing glasses. Image quality is sharp and contrasty even at the extreme end (120x magnification) of it's range.

It is, however a bit on the large side being an average overall length of 700mm so tripod mounting it would be essential (it has a standard 1/4 bush). That said, it isn't unduly heavy thanks to the aluminium tube. These scopes are not particularly common but ideal even for astronomical use thanks to its large 80mm objective and other general purposes such as birdwatching etc.
